Grade 9 BC Provincial Girls Basketball Tournament

Dr. Knox Middle School would like to welcome you to the official site for the Grade 9 Girls British Columbia Basketball Championships! We are honoured to be holding this year’s championships in Kelowna, BC for the second time. From the exceptional calibre of the 16 teams expected from all across British Columbia to the many exciting events that will be taking place, this year’s championships are shaping up to be a very exciting event!

Dr. Knox Middle School is thrilled to be hosting and to welcome players, coaches, and team supporters to the event. In addition to the best gr.9 girls basketball in the province, a Coaches’ Social and Closing Ceremonies, the tournament will include a banquet on the opening night of Friday March 2nd. Teams will have the opportunity to have some laughs, socialize with one another and hear our guest speaker. This years guest speaker is3-time National Champion and 2010 CIS Player of the Year Robyn Buna!!

Finally, our primary sponsor, the Coast Capri Hotel, deserves special recognition for their support with this tournament in both helping fund the event and for hosting all of players at Kelowna's Premiere Hotel and Conference Center. We look forward to making this years event one of the best!
